Doors and Screens

We finally have the doors and screens on the church. It mad such a difference having them on.

It feels complete!!

On the doors we have something to remind us of home!! A kangaroo :)

Oh I forgot to mention previously that we did a play for Easter.

We re-enacted the last moments in Jesus live on this earth.

You can see the children really enjoyed performing for the church.

The ROOF is on!!!!

The roof was put on last week and we finally had our 1st church service inside Sunday 11.04.10.

The church was so happy to see the roof was completed.

We just want to thank everyone for their donations to make this possible.

Everyone is so grateful. We just need to put windows and the doors in to complete the church building.

As you can see we have a bit of room that needs to be filled up :)

The Praise and worship team had music for the first time. We had an old guitar that somebody donated to us and two tamborines, plus a guitar that belongs to a member of our church. We are growing but what is amazing is that the Lord is always with us

Today we had our first youth meeting and it was succesful! We had around 52 youth turn up. There was some preaching and we played a Christian movie (Left Behind) on the projector. The young people really enjoyed it because they had a different concept about church. The next meeting will be held on the 13th of March

2nd Anniversary (20th of January)

Our church celebrated it's second anniversary from when we started and had our first church service under the trees. It feels like it was just yesterday, doesn't it?

We gathered together to thank God for the blessings that He has given to us through out 2009.

Waiting for the New Year in pray and asking God for his favour and care during 2010. We had a fellowship dinner afterwards. Even without a roof on our building doesn't stop us from glorifying our Lord

We celebrated Christmas Eve with the whole congregation. We shared the word of God and after the service we had a time of fellowship (with a Christmas dinner). We gave all the children a Christmas present. We set up the project and presented a video to the church showing them from beginning of when the church started to now. We had a wonderful time!!

We gave to the people in our congregation a basket of groceries and bibles to the new believers. These items were a big blessing to the community which were provided by Operation Provision Ministries.

Operation Provision International directors Jim and Barbara Neff and their team came to our church in El Tigre to visit us. They ministered at our Sunday service. We also had a children outreach at the local park. Around about 100 children turned up. We gave them a little packet with toys, lollies and pencils for school
