Our church celebrated it's second anniversary from when we started and had our first church service under the trees. It feels like it was just yesterday, doesn't it?

We gathered together to thank God for the blessings that He has given to us through out 2009.
Waiting for the New Year in pray and asking God for his favour and care during 2010. We had a fellowship dinner afterwards. Even without a roof on our building doesn't stop us from glorifying our Lord

We celebrated Christmas Eve with the whole congregation. We shared the word of God and after the service we had a time of fellowship (with a Christmas dinner). We gave all the children a Christmas present. We set up the project and presented a video to the church showing them from beginning of when the church started to now. We had a wonderful time!!

Hurrican Ida......

Hurricane Ida has caused some disasters that have been devastating. We have had floods, landslides with rocks, some of them as big as 2 metres high that have destroyed homes and have left people unable to communicate. River levels have increased and the current has destroyed home that were close to the river bank. Many houses have collapsed and killed the people that were inside. Trees have fallen over and destroyed homes and bridges. Many families have lost everything and the only possessions they have are the clothes they are wearing. The wather broadcasters have mentioned that it has rained over 300mm. Thank God the rain has stopped. We are fine, nothing has happened in our town (Santiago de Maria) and we know that the hand of God is keeping us safe.
